RENEWAL

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Isaiah 43:19

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! -2 Corinthians 5:17

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, -1 Peter 1:3

There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. -Proverbs 23:18

but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. -Isaiah 40:31

GROWTH

FAITH

For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” -Romans 1:17

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. -Matthew 7:7

and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” -John 8:32

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. -Mark 11:24

Take delight in the Lord,  and he will give you the desires of your heart. -Psalm 37:4

FAMILY

LOVE

We love because he first loved us.

I John 4:19

22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. -Lamentations 3:22-23

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. -Matthew 6:21

Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. -Romans 15:2

FELLOWSHIP

So I recommend having fun, because there is nothing better for people in this world than to eat, drink, and enjoy life. That way they will experience some happiness along with all the hard work God gives them under the sun. 

Ecclesiastes 8:15

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. -1 John 1:7
Be hospitable to one another without complaint. -1 Peter 4:9

ENCOURAGEMENT

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

1 Thessalonians 5:11

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. -Romans 12:12

though he may stumble, he will not fall,  for the Lord upholds him with his hand. -Psalm 37:24

3 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. 4 Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. -1 Peter 3:3-4

TITHE

9 Honor the Lord with your wealth,  with the firstfruits of all your crops; 10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. -Proverbs 3:9-10
4 He ordered the people living in Jerusalem to give the portion due the priests and Levites so they could devote themselves to the Law of the Lord. 5 As soon as the order went out, the Israelites generously gave the firstfruits of their grain, new wine, olive oil and honey and all that the fields produced. They brought a great amount, a tithe of everything. -2 Chronicles 31:4-5

TRUST

23 Love the Lord, all his faithful people! The Lord preserves those who are true to him, but the proud he pays back in full.  

24 Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

Psalm 31:23-24

If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty's hand. -Daniel 3:17

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. -Philippians 4:6

Jesus said to him, “If you wish to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” -Matthew 19:21

Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. -Daniel 3:28

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart  and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:5-6


FEAR

73 Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn your commands. 74 May those who fear you rejoice when they see me, for I have put my hope in your word. -י Yodh , Psalm 119:73-74

And he said, “Listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: Thus says the Lord to you, ‘Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God's. -2 Chronicles 20:15

So do not fear, for I am with you;  do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. -Isaiah 41:10

I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. -Psalm 34:4


WORSHIP

9 All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord; they will bring glory to your name. 10 For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God. -Psalm 86:9-10

speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, -Ephesians 5:19

The Lord says:
“These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught. -Isaiah 29:13

“‘So you will be my people, and I will be your God.’” -Jeremiah 30:22

PRAISE

“Hear this, you kings! Listen, you rulers! I, even I, will sing to the Lord; I will praise the Lord, the God of Israel, in song.

Judges 5:3

The heavens declare the glory of God;  the skies proclaim the work of his hands. -For the director of music, a Psalm of David, Psalm 19:1

Sing to the Lord; praise the Lord!  For He has delivered the life of the needy from the hand of evildoers. -Jeremiah 20:13

This is the day that the Lord has made;  let us rejoice and be glad in it. -Psalm 118:24

Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, From everlasting even to everlasting. Then all the people said, "Amen," and praised the LORD. -1 Chronicles 16:36

Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. -Psalm 96:3


FORGIVENESS

"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. -Luke 6:37

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. -Colossians 3:13

So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir. -Galatians 4:7

This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. -Matthew 26:28

Fools give full vent to their rage,  but the wise bring calm in the end. -Proverbs 29:11

as far as the east is from the west,  so far has he removed our transgressions from us. -Psalm 103:12


HEALING

Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;  save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. -Jeremiah 17:14

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. -Psalm 34:18

‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[a] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” -Revelation 21:4

He heals the brokenhearted  and binds up their wounds. -Psalm 147:3

RESTORATION

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28

Will you not revive us again,  that your people may rejoice in you? -Psalm 85:6

9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works,[a] just as God did from his. 11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience. -Hebrews 4:9-11

He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. -Psalm 23:3

GRATITUDE

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. -Collosians 3:15

HONESTY

Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts. -James 5:4
He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing good with his own hands, that he may have something to share with the one in need. -Ephesians 4:28

STRENGTH

Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” -Nehemiah 8:10

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. -1 Corinthians 16:13

But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” -2 Chronicles 15:7

She is clothed in strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future. -Proverbs 31:25

I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. -Philippians 4:13

For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. -2 Corinthians 5:1

Do you not know?  Have you not heard? 
The Lord is the everlasting God,  the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. -Isaiah 40:28

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. -Romans 8:26

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” -Joshua 1:9

SAFETY

The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

Proverbs 18:10

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. -Psalm 34:8

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him. -Nahum 1:7

When you pass through the waters,  I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. 
When you walk through the fire,  you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. -Isaiah 43:2

PEACE

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. -Romans 15:13

Hot tempers cause arguments, but patience brings peace. -Proverbs 15:18

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” -John 16:33


PROTECTION

3 Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. 
4 Rescue the weak and the needy;  deliver them from the hand of the wicked.

Psalm 82:3-4

Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime; it is the Lord who sends the thunderstorms. He gives showers of rain to all people, and plants of the field to everyone. -Zechariah 10:1

For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. -1 Timothy 4:8

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. -2 Thessalonians 3:3


PERSEVERANCE

Brothers and sisters, I know that I still have a long way to go. But there is one thing I do: I forget what is in the past and try as hard as I can to reach the goal before me. -Philippians 3:13

Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. -Hebrews 12:3

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. -John 1:5

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. -Galatians 6:9

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. -James 1:12


JUDGEMENT

Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming. It is close at hand—

Joel 2:1

Seek good, not evil,  that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you,  just as you say he is. -Amos 5:14

Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth. Walk in the ways of your heart and the sight of your eyes. But know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment. -Ecclesiastes 11:9

The wicked go down to the realm of the dead, all the nations that forget God. -Psalm 9:17

Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God. -1 Corinthians 4:5

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. -John 8:34


CHRISTMAS

She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

Matthew 1:21

for the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is his name. -Mary's Song , Luke 1:49

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. -John 1:14

Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift! -2 Corinthians 9:15

Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. -1 John 5:5


EASTER

Let this Messiah, this king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” Those crucified with him also heaped insults on him. -Mark 15:32

 Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! Because of his great mercy he gave us new life by raising Jesus Christ from death. This fills us with a living hope, -1 Peter 1:3

9 If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved. 10 For it is by our faith that we are put right with God; it is by our confession that we are saved. -Romans 10:9-10

MORE

The lot is cast into the lap,  but its every decision is from the Lord. -Proverbs 16:33

16 'Cursed is he who dishonors his father or mother.' And all the people shall say, 'Amen.' 17 'Cursed is he who moves his neighbor's boundary mark.' And all the people shall say, 'Amen.' 18 Cursed is he who misleads a blind person on the road.' And all the people shall say, 'Amen.' 19 'Cursed is he who distorts the justice due an alien, orphan, and widow.' And all the people shall say, 'Amen.' -Deuteronomy 27:16-19

13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— 14 yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. -James 4:13-14
