The Lansing Fire Department gave the "all clear" and students went back to class at around 8am, we're told.

A concerned parent contacted Strickland's Love Lansing shortly after 8am, saying he had no official information and didn't know where his child was.  He later said he received an automated call from the school at 8:49am and noted he was disappointed that it took so long for information to be distributed.  The school was evacuated at 7:05am, nearly two hours prior.

WILX-TV says LFD called it a "non-emergency" gas leak.
